Michael's Body Scenes would like to introduce you to
our newly appointed Assistant Fitness Director, Angelika Wolska Halbedl. She is originally
from Poland and has been in the United States for the past 6 years. Angelika is a
certified personal trainer through World Fitness Association and is also a certified
"Schwinn" Cycling instructor.
Come join her in cycling class every Tuesday at 6:00 pm or say hi to
her as she speedily moves around the facility if you can catch her.
Also new to both our Floor staff and Personal Training staff is
Olympic athlete Wolfgang Schmidt. Wolfgang is a former (1978-1983) world record holder in
the discus throw and Olympic silver medallist in the 1976 Montreal Olympics. He is also
the 1978 European champion.
Wolfgang holds a diploma in Physical Education from Germany and is a
certified personal trainer through the International Fitness Institute. He has been in the
United States since 1997 spending three years in California and finally fulfilling his
lifelong dream of living in Florida, having moved here about a year ago.
Say hi to Wolfgang when you see him, he is the short 6' 7"
gentleman you see constantly ducking under the trainer's office door.
And finally we are proud to announce the promotion of Mary Ann
Morgan-Fried to the position of Sales Manager. With over 16 years of experience in the
fitness industry, Mary Ann shares our longstanding philosophy of educating members and
non-members to the benefits of exercise. Her teaching approach will help us bring the
benefits of fitness to a population that still remains largely sedentary.
During her career she has worked with diverse industry leaders such
as Fit America, Get Cyced and Definite Bodies. As with all of our staff, Mary Ann will be
available at any time if you have any questions about your membership or a membership for
someone you know.
