Comfortable & Friendly Atmosphere: At Michael's Body Scenes, our priority is to provide a great environment for our members to achieve their fitness goals. We do everything we can to offer the best service, in order for everyone, especially beginners to be comfortable and not be intimidated. We are family owned and operated therefore our members often feel like they are part of huge extended family.
Exemplary Customer Service: As in many clubs we have top of the line equipment, however, our greatest asset is our staff. We feel that we have the best collection of service oriented personnel, and professional fitness instructors. The staff is committed to serving our members to the best of their abilities. When our members enter the club they are always welcomed by a staff whose job--"fitness" is also their passion. This is well evidenced by the warm smiles and greetings our members always receive.
Club Maintenance: Cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance throughout the club are of the utmost importance. From the locker rooms to the weight room, to the aerobics rooms we strive to provide a fresh clean club for our members. A maintenance and cleaning crew comes in twice a day so that we are fresh and prepared regardless of whether it is 5:30 am or 5:30 pm. Our standards set us apart from other gyms.
Group Exercise Classes: The award winning aerobics program has been the backbone of MBS. Our club had originated as an aerobics studio, where the finest classes in town could be found. We hire top instructors--the best in their field, all certified by nationally known organizations (AFAA, ACE, MAD DOG ATHLETICS, LEMOND, ACSM etc..). Two fully equipped aerobics studios, and a custom designed SPINNING Center, allows us to offer over 70 Group Exercise plus 22 SPINNING classes per week. State Of The Art Equipment: MBS has always been at the forefront in providing the latest in technologically advanced equipment by continuously monitoring the pulse of the fitness industry. With proper maintenance and frequent replacement of outdated equipment, our members will always have the most up-to-date machines necessary to attain their individual fitness goals.
Free Weights: Our extensive free weight area contains over 15,000 lbs of free weights, including sets of Troy dumbells from 5lbs to 120 lbs, Olympic benches and barbells, a variety of Smith machines and Squat racks, plate loaded equipment, a unique Composite Motion Leg Press by Hoist, and much more. Whether you are an avid bodybuilder or just looking to tone and condition we have the weight for you.
Strength Training Machines: We have chosen a full complement of strength training equipment including a full line of Life Fitness and Hoist, and carefully selected pieces from top manufacturers such as Body Masters, Hammer Strength, Magnum and Free Motion. This equipment utilizes the principles of engineering and biomechanics to create high-efficiency, selectorized machines.
Stretching and Abdominal Area: Our goal is to address all aspects of fitness. We have provided a designated area for abdominals and stretching with specialized equipment and ample free space.
Cardiovascular Equipment: Diversity and variety is what our cardio area is all about. All of the top names in state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment have been selected to meet the needs of the most discerning exercise enthusiast. The equipment is outfitted with Heart Rate Monitoring and includes: The new hi-tech LifeFitness Treadmills with individual LCD TV screens, Precor Elliptical Trainers, LifeFitness recumbent and upright Bikes, LifeFitness Elliptical Crosstrainers, Concept II Indoor Rowers, Sprint UBE, Sprint Runner Treadmills, Stairmaster Freeclimbers, Stairmaster Crossrobic Machines, Stairmaster Stepmills, Schwinn Airdyne, and the incredible Brewer's Ledge Revolving climbing wall!

Pro Shop: The MBS store offers the newest and hottest workout wear, accessories, beverages and nutritional supplements. We have taken the pro-shop a step further for your convenience by providing locks, toiletries, socks and other often forgotten items.
Locker Rooms: Individual showers, lockers for daily use and monthly rental, and plush dressing areas are available in both the Men's and Women's locker rooms. Careful attention to hygiene and cleanliness is a top priority. Our members will also find the locker rooms well stocked with hairdryers, shower gels, moisturizing lotion and other conveniences.
Physical Therapy: Advanced Physical Therapy Associates is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals united in treating sports injuries, orthopedic and arthritis disorders and post surgery conditions with quality physical therapy. Situated inside our club, APTA enables patients the unique convenience of a continued quality recovery program once physical therapy is complete in a location just a step away from their therapist. This logical combination greatly improves the chances of independence and a lasting recovery.
