The final numbers raised for this charity ride are:

Michael's Body Scenes-Boca Raton, FL 8:00 am	$9,652.00
Michael's Body Scenes-Boca Raton, FL 9:00 am	$8,710.00
Michael's Body Scenes-Boca Raton, FL 10:00 am	$7,766.00
Michael's Body Scenes-Boca Raton, FL 11:00 am	$5,157.00

TOTAL MBS $31,285.00

What an incredible act of generosity from everyone that participated and donated. Just a reminder, all participants including instructors had to raise a minimum of $250 to ride in this event.

The result is that Michael's Body Scenes is the highest grossing fundraising club in the country! Our club outraised the 2nd place club by more than double the amount! ($31,285 vs $11,986). Individually, member Barry Dishman and instructor Brett Rabbat were in the top 20 fundraisers in the country.

I have said it before and I will say it again our members and staff have the biggest hearts when it comes to helping out those in need. It's especially noteworthy that this amount was raised during one of the most difficult economic times our nation has faced.

On June 28, a nation of Spinning enthusiasts helped to change the world.

The Event
Spinning Nation marks the first time a group of diverse, committed charitable organizations have come together as partners for one event, and the first time Spinning participants have had the opportunity to come together as a nation.

What Happened
On June 28, 2008, Official Spinning Facilities like Michael's Body Scenes, across the country simultaneously conducted a consecutive series of four, one-hour classes, each class taught by either one top instructor or a team of two instructors per session.

Saving Lives
Event proceeds benefited three of the most effective and dynamic charitable organizations operating today—Athletes for a Cure, AIDS Research Alliance and the Cancer Schmancer Movement.
