KIDS CENTER GUIDELINES:
- For the safety and comfort of the children, we are required to limit their stay
to 2 hours. We are an on site baby-sitting service, not a licensed child care center.
Children with ongoing behavior problems will be limited to 1 hour. We also suggest
that babies under 6 months old be limited to 1 hour stays as well.
- When entering the Kids Center, please make sure that you sign in and that the entry
door closes immediately behind you. Please do not stand in the door way and chat
with the other member behind you.
- No child will be allowed to leave the Kids Center unless the parent who signed them
in, takes them out. If a friend that you are working out with or another member
of the family is taking your child home, you need to let the staff know.
- Once your child is signed in, that child can not leave to go buy a snack at the
juice bar or to go and find their parent. Your child needs to be informed of this
rule and abide by it.
- In order for your child to be in the Kids Center, a parent must physically be in
the building. This is an HRS regulation and will be strictly enforced. There will
be no exceptions made for anyone.
- If there is a nursery attendant on duty you will be expected to pay Kid Center fees
regardless of the child's age.
- Please keep your children at home if there is a chance they may be ill. Our members
want a well environment to bring their children in to. This policy will be strictly
enforced.
- MBS allows drinks and snacks only, no meals please (in non-breakable containers)
and only if labeled with your child's name (baby bottles also.) Please do the labeling
before you bring your child into the Kids Center.
- Unless your child will not leave home without a special toy or blanket, may we suggest
that those items stay home. Our lost and found box is already growing by leaps and
bounds. We cannot be responsible for lost items although we do try our best.
- Mothers, please do not leave wallets, keys, cosmetics or toiletries in your child's
bags. We do have lockers available.
- Babies that come with pacifiers should have them attached to their clothing.
- Children are allowed to bring in their own super nintendo cartridges; however, only
general audience rated tapes will be allowed. PG13 or parental discretion tapes
are not permitted. All cartridges must be labeled and are your child's responsibility.
- In order to maintain health codes, socks must be worn at all times, bare feet are
not allowed.
- If your child is still in diapers, please make sure that when you leave them in
the Nursery, you leave them with an extra diaper. If is not left and your child
has a dirty diaper, we will have to page you.
-
We have made our Kids Center a fun place for your child. The preceding guidelines
have been put in place for only one reason, that reason being safety for your children.
We are trying to provide your children with the safest and most caring environment
possible. Your support will enable us to keep that safe and caring environment that
all of your children are so deserving of.
